The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas Responding Statement
If you disagree with a rule, law, or public policy, it is better to remain silent than to speak out and risk the punishment. I both agree and disagree with this statement because it depends on the situations. Such as f your against a major government for a good reason such as if they're corrupt then I wouldn't speak out or I could get killed. But I would try to maybe defeat a certain organization some way but unless I have the power to do so. I wouldn't always obey authority such as robbers they are considered authority because they might use weapons, but I would try to stop them as best I could.

Journey prompt 2
My protagonist is named Thomas Mayo. He looks lean. he doesn't have any facial problems, he is average height for a high schooler, and he has long hair. His personality is just focused on surviving high school later on in the book he gets used to it and he starts worrying about bullies and the high school dance/prom, plus he has to figure out who to be his girlfriend and the one he dances with. The books chapters are named of all the problems he has I cant name them all but the main problem is high school. Technically its more like some of the problems you will face in high school. Quote-"These guys Rob and Barry sat next to me in homeroom, they seemed like nice guys and since were all new to high school, I guess thats all it really took for us to become friends.Maybe that was too easy.Maybe I need to raise my standards." This quote tells about Thomas about his first friends he had in homeroom this tells what a major problem he had in high school which was friends. He did in fact had to raise his standards to get more friends and a girl friend.

Journey question 1
The journey in this book so far is about this guy named Thomas Mayo and he is having to go through a journey of high school such as his classes, bullies, and more. Passage "Wood shop", I said "I cant believe it the totally screwed up my schedule". The passage is an example of one of the many problems he will face in high school and in the beginning of this book he is a freshman and he has a lot of problems in school
