Journey question 1

The journey in this book so far is about this guy named Thomas Mayo and he is having to go through a journey of high school such as his classes, bullies, and more. Passage "Wood shop", I said "I cant believe it the totally screwed up my schedule". The passage is an example of one of the many problems he will face in high school and in the beginning of this book he is a freshman and he has a lot of problems in school

    Ian, is there anything that is a more general view of the journey ahead of him in high school? I'm sure that the schedule is one thing, but how does he generally feel about his future?
